What Our Guests Are Saying:

I had an amazing stay at Frog Meadow. Scott and Dave are consummate hosts, available when needed but never hovering or making you feel like you are being watched. I had a massage with Dave and it was sublime, he has magic hands!

The other guests were interesting and fun. We all hung and visited with each other in and around the wood fired hot tub which has the perfect view of the gardens with the mountains in the background.

Breakfasts were delicious, hot and made to order. The conversation around the table was interesting with guys from all over the country and even a couple from Copenhagen.

I stayed in the Brook Cottage which is a magical little spot with it’s own waterfall outside the window. It is secluded and private but close to everything. The entire place is immaculately clean.

With everything going on in the US and the world these days having an escape to a beautiful, safe and stimulating oasis for men is more important than ever.

We’ve been coming to Frog Meadow yearly for over a decade. It is the sweetest B&B at which we’ve ever stayed.

Scott and Dave are truly gracious hosts. The rooms and every square inch of the public spaces are spotless and well appointed. The garden in beautifully maintained. There is so so much acreage to ramble around in. And Rock River is very near!

Newfane is very small, but very charming with great eateries. And Brattleboro is crazy picturesque with fun shops and some very fine restaurants. And this area of Vermont is simply gorgeous.

Frog Meadow is a place to come back to again and again!

After a two-year pandemic hiatus, it was great to return to Frog Meadow Farm. Nothing had changed! The warm and inviting hospitality from Dave and Scott was not diminished by Covid-19. The landscaping was lush, and the flowers were in full bloom. It seemed even the bees and hummingbirds were put on notice to show up and extend a warm welcome.

As Scott so vocally proclaimed, I “assumed my usual position” outside by the table, reading my book, chilling with a glass of wine with my earbuds in place, soaking up the sun surrounded by a tranquil environment. While enjoying my sedentary position, the other guests had other plans to fill their afternoon. Whether touring the Green Mountain State and taking in the sights of the countryside or relaxing and making new friends at Rock River, everyone had their individual plan to make their time at FMF worthwhile and enjoyable.

Besides the various activities described above, I must admit the stimulating conversation around the breakfast table was a highlight of this visit. The diversity of the participants coupled with their interesting and witty stories was an invigorating way to start the day! As always, I highly recommend FMF for those wanting to get away from their humdrum existence. But take it from me a long-time visitor (this was my 11th stay), a four-day visit will fly by, and you will leave regretting you did not stay longer in paradise!
