“What a beautiful spot. The owners have put so much love into this little oasis. It is super clean and easily accommodates individuals, families or would be great for a large group that still want some private space. The fully equipped kitchens and nicely furnished common spaces are well sized for small gatherings and provide opportunity to meet fellow travelers and warm intimate interaction. We were sad that our stay was only one night but pleased that a single night was an option!

“The clean and sophisticated interior, with craft woodworking, and original artworks are to be found throughout the facility. Included are several comfortable communal areas including kitchens stocked with Green Mountain coffee and first quality tea.
Anni Mackay’s friendly face and accommodating approach to running the operation create a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. The building is ideally located in Rochester for a quick overnight stay or a more extended time with a great breakfast /lunch cafe a short walk away and a restaurant/tavern that is open until as late as 10PM. (rem: this is rural Vermont, everything else in town closes EARLY)
The Stable Inn is a great place to stay with relaxing atmosphere. Highly suggest you give it a try!”
