Friday evening, February 19, 2021 Secretary Lindsay Kurrle of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development released a memo with updated reopening guidance to Vermont’s tourism, hospitality, and events community. While there is not definitive news of opening plans, the memo communicates a clear recognition that lodging, wedding, meeting and event planners need direction if they are to salvage the summer and fall season of 2021. Vermont Lodging Association continues to elevate this “lead-time” message with the administration.
